I hate to do it, but i can't find it from searches here, where i saw it linked first, or on google searches...

It was some guys website regarding lessons on bugout from katrina that he learned first hand.
I believe it was titled something like "Lessons from Katrina" or "Surviving Katrina" or something.

He also spent a good deal of his discussions on 1 minute, 10 minute, and 1 hour bugout plans, as well as the importance of Data Security in the bugout situation (ID, insurance info, medical info, etc....)

I'm sure somebody here has the link, right?

Well, there's a Discovery Channel program called 'Surviving Katrina', but youl'll be hard pressed to get much of value from it.

You're south of Dallas. For bug out, the answer is to go north until you are in the former dustbowl region, or a lot lot lot further south. Not in Mexico or central America.... keep going. Remember it is every man for himself.

You won't be hell-bent on establishing your fantasy of libertarian government, will you? That might get your tea dumped into the nearest harbor. I'll definitely dump your tea if you end up anywhere near me.
